Transformex was established in May 2007 by Carmanthra Naidoo, who developed her empowerment audit skills at one of the founding B-BBEE verification agencies since 2003. The company was accredited in 2011 by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) and has maintained annual accreditation status since then. The accreditation details of Transformex can be found on the SANAS website (www.sanas.co.za) using reference BVA 151. Carmanthra holds an Honours Degree in Econometrics as well as a B-BBEE Management Development Programme (MDP) qualification. She is currently a Lead Technical Assessor for SANAS which ensures that she is an expert on the technical requirements of B-BBEE certification and its process. Carmanthra is also a registered Skills Development Facilitator and an expert Employment Equity Consultant with over 17 years of experience in B-BBEE, Skills Development and Equity Solutions.
